Spilastar Specialised Engineering was founded in 2009 and is a level 2 contributor BEE Company.
Our aim is to provide an excellent service and good quality products at competitive rates, to the mining and industrial sector, whilst maintaining an impeccable safety record.
We have two service divisions

Steel division
We have been involved in the manufacturing and installation of steel structures, ductings and all maintenance related work found on processing plants.
Our artisans and representatives are skilled and have already undergone all the training needed to be on your plant.
Our offices and workshop are situated at 24 Waterval Avenue in Rustenburg.
We have the following capabilities:
- Specialised fabrication and engineering work i.e. ductings, distance pieces, structural steel etc.
- Mild steel, stainless steel pipelines
- Maintenance work on production plants
- Shut downs on production plants.
- Refurbishment of steel structures
- In-house drafting capabilities
- Workshop size with crane capabilities of 1950m3
- Stand-by capabilities
- Maintenance, manufacture and installation of water treatment plants
HDPE DIVISION
HDPE pipes have greater resistance to corrosion, impacts (does not break) and greater flexibility. Its installation is quick and practical, which speeds up the progress of your project.
The final cost of the work is lower due to the low number of splices that the system provides throughout the assembly.
Our HDPE Division provides the following:
- 24 Hour breakdown service and assistance
- Fabrication according to site drawings
- Installation of HDPE piping
- Mining, sewer and water installation
- Launder fabrication and installation
